engagement ring w/ moissanite

A new engagement ring design based on my original design which featured a double half-round band with a braided wire set into the crevice. With this one, I wanted to keep the edges square and give it more heft for a more industrial feel. The band is made from two 12 gauge square wire rings separated by a thin round jump ring centered between the two. This gives the band a scored look on both the inside and outside.

This ring is all sterling silver, with a 3mm moissanite that is tube set between the two rings. Moissanite has a tremendous amount of sparkle– I did not even begin to do it justice here. It is found in nature only in minute quantities on the surfaces of meteorites, therefore all moissanites used in jewelry are lab-grown.

The wedding ‘bands’ are matching… it’s a ‘double band’ w/the engagement rings sitting in between them. 🙂 Mine, on the left, is a princess cut, because, well… haven’t you all noticed how much of a pretty pretty princess i am?! 😉 LOL. Maggie’s, on the right, is the round cut.

Both beautiful… both filled with love… both reminders of our commitment to one another. 🙂 They fit perfectly, as I believe, we do too. *sorry… still schmoopy dorks in love!
